Dear Bully: 70 Authors Tell Their Story is the brainchild of authors Carrie Jones and Megan Kelley Hall. They started a Facebook group for authors who wanted to band together after the suicide last year of Phoebe Prince of South Hadley, Mass., who was a victim of bullying.
Thousands signed up and Jones and Hall spotted a teaching moment. They asked authors to share their past experiences with bullies. Dear Bully(HarperTeen, $9.99), out Sept. 6, is the result.
